Dr Kylie Henderson Founder & Managing Director

Kylie is a clinical psychologist, a full member of the Australian Psychological Society, a committee member of the APS Rehabilitation Psychology Interest Group, a supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and a member of the Institute of Company Directors. She has a Doctorate of Psychology (Clinical) from James Cook University, a Graduate Diploma of Professional Psychology from Bond University and an undergraduate degree in psychology from Monash University.

Kylie has more than 15 years experience in the employment services industry in roles including General Manager and National Senior Psychologist for large, national employment services providers. She has developed, administered and evaluated the delivery of integrated allied health services to employment services programs that address medical, health and psychological barriers to improve employment outcomes.

We believe if you have a mental health, or medical condition you can still work. It’s about working with an employment provider to find the job seeker the right job. On average we do this in 2.8 sessions.

DR KARLA JOHNSTON Member of the Back2Work Advisory Board - Clinical Quality

Karla is a clinical and counselling psychologist, a supervisor with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), APS Clinical College and APS Counselling College and holds a Doctorate of Philosophy (Clinical and Counselling Psychological Supervision) from Queensland University of Technology.

Karla has extensive experience in governmental agenda, social security law and Centrelink management and previously worked for some of Australia’s leading employment services providers including the Sarina Russo Group and MaxSolutions. Karla combines her COO duties with overseeing the B2W Quality Assurance and Clinical Psychology Supervision program.

DR RACHEL MORTON National Operations Manager

Rachel is a clinical psychologist who has a Doctorate of Psychology (Clinical) and a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honors Psychology) from Queensland University of Technology. She has a particular interest in working with individuals experiencing mental illness. Rachel combines supporting employment services staff and job seekers with her operational role of coordinating the national B2W team.

Brenton Fielke Senior Occupational Therapist QLD

Brenton is a highly skilled occupational therapist with more than 20 years experience in developing and implementing practical, outcome-focused education, training and support across a range of health care and industry settings. Over the years, Brenton has provided physical assessment services and guidance to numerous governmental agencies. He has a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from The University of Queensland and his expertise includes injury prevention and working with individuals to return to, and maintain, work capacity and employment.

William Smith

WILLIAM SMITH  B2W UK Principal Advisor

Until mid 2015 William was the Managing Director of Health Management Limited, one of the UK’s leading occupational health companies, and has served in many senior positions within the employment services industry for more than 25 years. William worked for 12 years at Ingeus, where he was European Chief Executive Officer and responsible for establishing the UK operations and subsequently growing it to become the largest welfare to work prime provider. He also set up subsidiary businesses for Ingeus in France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Poland, Spain and Saudi Arabia. Under his leadership, Ingeus became the largest welfare-to-work provider in Europe. Prior to joining Ingeus, he led a public-private-partnership to establish Working Links and became their first Chief Executive Officer.

MALCOLM CHOAT  Psychologist, State Manager, NSW

Malcolm is a registered psychologist with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from the University of New England, a certificate of Psychological Practice from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and a Certificate IV Training and Assessment from Southern Cross Training. He is currently studying for a Masters of Clinical Leadership at the University of New England. Malcolm has an interest in the impact of trauma on mental health and wellbeing, and the role of employment in recovery for people with severe and persistent mental illness. Before starting his psychology studies, Malcolm spent 17 years as a practicing barrister.

We help job seekers obtain and keep work by providing health services to them directly and by collaboratively assisting Employment Providers who support jobseekers.

Steph is our financial wizard and is based at our head office in Brisbane. She oversees our day-to-day accounting procedures and administration tasks for B2W staff and clients. Steph also provides secretarial support for the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Brisbane Branch.

Mark Webb

MARK WEBB State Manager, WA

Mark is a psychologist and has a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours, Psychology) both from Edith Cowan University. He also has a Master of Business Leadership from Curtin Graduate School of Business (Curtin University). Mark has vast experience as a senior leader and mentor in the not-for-profit sector. His particular interest lies in treatment options for men experiencing depression and anxiety disorders, work-related stress and difficulties in their relationships.
